First Annual Ride for Real Food Rocks! We raised almost $10,000 and are hatching plans for next year’s Ride already. If you were planning to donate and didn’t get to it, you can still pledge here. A HUGE thanks goes out to the volunteers, riders, staff, EMTs from St. John Ambulance and the people who pledged to the riders to make this event a success!
This week at the Market Should be a great market today. Still lots of tomatoes, peaches, greens, zuchinnis, and more. Fall goodness such as apples, squash, pears, potatoes, beets, cabbage, sweet potatoes, all coming into abundance too! Its going to be beautiful day in the park - see you there.Under the Market Canopy this week
We are so fortunate to have had such wonderful musicians all summer sharing their talents with us at the market! If you want to play music at the market or know someone you’d like to see play contact Corry and let her know! Help us save our farmers' markets! A fall CSO and next workshop will be announced tomorrow - at www.westendfood.coop/cannery. Remember you can support our ability to do and teach preserving with our community partners for those who wouldn’t otherwise afford to do so at Small Change Fund.
