The West End Food Co-op is a non-profit multiple stakeholder co-op. Our members include producers, eaters, workers, & community organizations

WEFC Goals

To provide healthy food
To provide culturally appropriate food
To act as a hub for food change
To establish a centre that links eating, growing, and providing food

Our Vision

A thriving local community food culture that has a positive impact on the economy, environment and society, & promotes a connection to a sustainable global food system.

WEFC is one of the only

WEFC is one of the only multi-stakeholder co-ops in Ontario, and one of the few non-profit co-ops. We are planning to open a store by 2011 in the heart of Toronto's west end, offering food as local as possible,pass4sure 220-701 community food programming and a place to change the food system in our own backyards. We welcome members from all of our stakeholder groups: producers, workers, eaters and our community pass4sure 640-822 partners. We have big plans: a warm space, great food as local as possible, community cooking, processing and working. Join us in making this exciting vision become reality! There are many ways to pass4sure 642-901 learn more and become a member and/or purchase a bond. Our co-op directors would be thrilled to meet you and pass4sure 350-030 discuss the plans in more detail at one of our upcoming WEFC events or at one of the Sorauren Winter Markets.
