What We Do

WEFC has made impressive strides
since the group was informally convened in 2008.

Highlights include:

The successful Sorauren Farmer’s Market, 2008, 2009, and 2010
A detailed feasibility study, business plan and market research
One of Canada’s first neighbourhood ‘community food mapping projects’
Developing diverse programming around preserving, in partnership with the Parkdale Activity Recreation Centre.
Envisioning and raising capital for a 2011 food retail store
